A true icon of Boucheron since 1968, Serpent Bohème enters a striking new chapter this year, reimagined through the poetic symbolism of an eclipse, that rare, fleeting moment when shadow reveals light, and light intensifies shadow. For 2026, the Maison unveils 12 new creations that explore this interplay through the bold pairing of yellow gold and onyx, alongside radiant designs crafted entirely in highly polished gold. Graphic, magnetic, and unapologetically expressive, the new collection celebrates individuality through contrast, depth, and luminous craftsmanship.

On the shadow side, onyx makes its debut within the Serpent Bohème universe. Five signature jewellery essentials, a necklace, ring, earrings, bracelet, and watch, are reinterpreted through the intensity of faceted onyx, bringing a darker, more mysterious dimension to the Maison’s emblematic motif.

Balancing this is a series of three ultra-luminous creations, where polished gold takes the place of the stone traditionally set at the heart of Serpent Bohème. A pendant, earrings, and ring reveal the full warmth and radiance of yellow gold, creating pieces that feel both timeless and strikingly modern.

Creative Director Claire Choisne further expands the story with four statement designs where onyx and polished gold exist in perfect tension. An XXL bracelet, bold ring, pendant, and brooch explore reflections, material contrasts, and sculptural form. Designed to be worn alone or layered with other Serpent Bohème creations, each piece offers endless possibilities for stacking and personal expression.

To introduce the collection, the Maison unveils Shadow and Light, a new campaign where duality takes centre stage. A solitary figure stands before an eclipse, neither fully in darkness nor fully in light, as gold catches every glimmer and onyx draws in depth. Defined by tension, contrast, and the beauty of what exists in between, the campaign launches worldwide from 7 May 2026 across all of Boucheron’s communication channels.
