Aquazzura, the footwear label beloved by all is expanding its red carpet-ready repertoire and launching bags for Pre-Fall ‘23.
Since the brand celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2022, Aquazzura Creative Director, Edgardo Osorio, said via email, that “now” felt like the right time to branch out with the new collection.
The collection, comprising of both elevated day to night, and evening focussed silhouettes, eschews a splashy logo in favor of the brand’s signature codes and hardware. The emblematic Aquazzura pineapple logo sits on the aquamarine-hue interior.
“I wanted the design of the bags to be recognizable and powerful enough that no logo is needed,” Osorio added.
An array of day-to-night shapes include the Downtown 24/7 shoulder bag, with its distinctive triangular accessory wrought in gold chainmail, and the Twist maxi clutch with its sculptural metal clasp recalling the twisted heel of Aquazzura’s eponymous sandals.
