Aston Martin has revealed a unique collaboration with renowned architect, Sir David Adjaye, to design five exclusive homes at 130 William, New York City’s luxury residential development. The five fully furnished homes are located on 59th and 60th floors, with each featuring a private outdoor area spanning the residence and a grand living room with city-wide views.
Residents have the option of choosing a two-bedroom or a three-bedroom home, and each unit comes with a Special Edition Aston Martin DBX, designed by Sir David himself. Through this collaboration, Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman and Sir David, hope to reflect the car’s elegant design and craftsmanship in 130 William’s architecture and interiors.
The Ghanaian-British architect believes that the Manhattan-based project merges both parties’ design sensibilities. “Together with the limited-edition SUVs that come with these units, we’ve created a truly unique signature that blends our two disciplines,” Sir David said in a release.
The residences are equipped with captivating visual elements, hand-crafted materials, and furniture from the acclaimed Aston Martin Home Collection by the Italian manufacturer Formitalia. The master bedrooms offer warm, inviting materials, giving residents access to their own private sanctuary. The bedrooms feature expansive beds with custom cashmere headboards, spacious walk-in closets, and lounge chairs by Danish furniture designer Hans Wegner.
Buyers have the option of transforming one of the rooms into a racing simulator, an office or a library space. The luxury project includes two penthouses and three loggia residences. The high-rise tower also offers residents access to various lifestyle and wellness amenities, including an infinity-edge swimming pool, a spa, fitness center, yoga studio, and basketball court.
