On the 17 of December, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, announced the launch of a new brand for the UAE and urged people to cast their vote and help select a logo that will represent the country to the world as part of its nation brand.
Forty-nine prominent Emirati artists (seven artists from each Emirate) worked on designing the logos. You can head over to nationbrand.ae to choose from among the three shortlisted logos, the one that you would like to see as the identity of the nation. That’s not all, a tree is to be planted for each vote. The initiative reflects the UAE’s humanitarian values that aim to promote the culture of hope and create a better future for humanity.
