As the world takes preventive measures amid the COVID-19 outbreak, Tokyo’s Rakuten Fashion Week is leading by example, as it was announced that its Fall/Winter 2020 shows will be live-streamed for the fashion community.
The decision to live-stream was made following discussions around postponing the shows until summer. Known to be the most famous fashion festival of Japan, Tokyo Fashion Week showcases will go live on its official website. The global fashion community is among many that have been hit by the virus outbreak, with Seoul Fashion Week having already been cancelled.
