This Emirati Tea Brand Has Made Great Regional Strides With Its Personalized Offerings

Emirati online tea company Feel Good Tea Co. has made great strides in the regional market, having launched its mini box collections for personalized gifting in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE. Launched two years ago by tea expert Mohammad Al Hawari from the basement of his Dubai home, the brand has positioned itself as a key player in the corporate landscape.

“With online becoming a preferred buying channel, our quality specialty tea appears to have been a go-to refreshment during COVID-19 lockdowns largely due to its unique health benefits,” Mohammad said in a release. “During our first year of operation, we generated Dhs4.6 million in revenue and have continued to grow during the pandemic. As the business picked up pace, my team went on to develop a corporate package for gifting, a side of the business that has seen exponential growth delivering personalized boxes to companies across all sectors.”

Feel Good Tea Co. boasts more than 80 items in its diverse product range, which was launched when Mohammad noticed a gap in the market. Following intensive research and the sourcing of premium ingredients from around the world, the brand has made its mark and is now available via multiple multibrand delivery platforms, and its own website.

An astounding 80 per cent of Feel Good Tea Co.’s customer base comprises women, but Mohammed has revealed a growing penchant for specialty teas among men, especially after Dubai’s Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, posted the news about the company on his Instagram account.

“I put a lot of the success down to our customer experience,” stated Mohammad. “We make conscious, ethical choices in our production, manufacturing, and packaging. Our teas are pure, and our production is honest and fair – qualities which increasingly resonate with the buying public today.”

Among the brand’s highlights is the newly launched Mini Box collection, which features 12 loose-leaf teas packaged in mini boxes. “We’re hoping the Mini Box can emulate the success of our Discover Box, where personally selected teas are presented in a lovely wooden box,” Mohammad stated. “I personally select each of our blends from seasonal rotations before they’re pressed into our Tea Pods – glass tubes that keep the tea fresh. The act of handling loose tea allows customers to touch, see and smell the leaves, both in their dry and wet forms. It’s all really about quality and experience.”
