It’s been more than a year since I launched the high-end Jannah jewellery with Bulgari, through which I embodied several messages including love and peace through a collection of precious jewelry. Currently, I am working on a collection for the fine jewellery with the Jannah flower. The green color of Emerald in some pieces symbolizes my grandfather – a good man who loved the environment.
Through this collaboration, I translated my passion for precious stones which I strongly believe in the energy they emit. Thanks to their powerful energies and the deep synergy they cause with the human body, these stones are the perfect energy healing tools and the healing power inherent in the body.
Indians have linked gem stones with energy since ancient times, believing in the power of their potency. For example, ruby (manic) is a reddish-red gemstone belonging to the corundum family, which in Sanskrit means “king of all gemstones”. It is considered one of the wonderful gemstones on the planet. Indian astrology suggests wearing ruby stone for career growth, social status, love and strength as it improves family relationships, enhances physical strength and vitality, heals the heart, and improves blood flow.
Emerald is a gemstone that represents the planet Mercury (Bode), a small but powerful planet that has a strong influence on an individual’s life. Emerald helps promote financial growth and achieve success in creative projects, brings thought and wisdom, and enhances oral communication skills. It is also believed to strengthen the senses and soothe the skin. The color green has always been associated with Zayed’s grandfather’s love for the environment and agriculture, and the interest in transforming the UAE desert into a rich paradise.
The common saying that diamonds are women’s best friend hits scientific chords as diamonds help deal with negative energies, are a rich source of strength that help eliminate supernatural fears. Diamonds also help to overcome obstacles posed by enemies or competitors, enhance thought, achieve prosperity, success and fame, and maintain general and artistic capabilities.
While the color of many other luxury diamonds has been elucidated, the mystery of why pink diamonds are so, has not been solved to this day. Pink diamonds are extremely rare among all colored diamonds. Only 0.01 percent of the world’s diamonds are pink and are found in Indonesia, India, Russia, Canada, Brazil, and Australia.
Our land is famous for the best quality of pearls. Pearls however are not only used as beautiful jewellery. They also have health benefits and therapeutic properties for lung diseases such as tuberculosis, asthma, chronic bronchitis. Pearls also facilitate the healing of the heart, kidneys, urinary system and liver, lower acidity, strengthen the adrenal glands, the spleen and muscle tissue.
They can lessen hypertension, headaches, and exhaustion. Pearls are known to also help aid in fertility. The science of energy intersects with precious stones in several areas: There are seven major chakra centers in the body, where vital energy flows and intersects.
The precious stones help us extract energies related to the different degrees of chakra, as we transmit and receive physical, emotional and spiritual energy through our chakras – the ideal situation is when all chakra centers are clear and balanced. For example, the first chakra stones include: hematite, black obsidian, black tourmaline, red zinc, agate, spinel, smoked quartz, zircon.
The second chakra stones include: agate, turquoise blue and green. The Third Chakra Stones include: Citrine, Amber. Fourth Chakra Stones include: Rose Quartz, Cobalt Calcite. Fifth Chakra Stones include: Sodalite, Calcite, Aquamarine. Sixth Chakra Stones include: Lapis Lazuli, Azurite, Tanzanite. The seventh Chakra Stones include: Quartz Crystal. Indian wisdom teaches us that a woman’s self-esteem – through the acquisition of jewelery and jewelry, for example – is one of the methods of empowering women, enhancing their beauty, celebrating it and feeling independent.
