Saddled by Charlie Hills, Battaash aced the five-furlong sprint by ¾ lengths at the Goodwood Racecourse. HH Sheikh Hamdan was thrilled to witness his horse’s historic win. “It’s such a pleasure to be involved in a horse like this. To win three King George Stakes, I think it’s the first time it has ever been done,” Charlie Hills, who has trained Battaash, told Racing TV in an interview. “I’m quite emotional, he’s a special horse…” We look forward to many more sprint-acular wins for Battaash.
