His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia, attended an official reception hosted by the Qatar Olympic Committee, joined by his sister, Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani in Nagoya. 

Held under the patronage of H.E. Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, a member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Olympic Committee, the reception brought together vice presidents and sports leaders from across Asia and beyond. The evening showcased Qatar’s rich heritage and forward-looking ambition, offering guests a glimpse of the country’s culture while strengthening ties among leaders of the Olympic Movement.

For the event, Sheikha Hind wore a flowy dress in the colour of the Qatari flag, burgundy. She went for one of her mother, Sheikha Moza’s, favourite brands, Valentino. She wore an altered Valentino Ready-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2023 laser-cut floral midi dress, featuring short, flared sleeves and intricate laser-cut floral details along the midi hem. She paired the look with a gold clutch, ruby earrings and a matching ring. Beyond being a royal favourite, Valentino is also one of her mother, the iconic royal fashion figure Sheikha Moza bint Nasser’s favourite brands and one of its loyal clients.

Prior to the reception, Sheikha Hind met with Qatari female athletes participating in the 20th Asian Games – Aichi-Nagoya 2026, showing her support for Qatar’s athletes as they compete on the continental stage.
