Born from a deep love for her homeland, Her Highness Princess Sora bint Saud Al Saud is writing her next chapter… a series of books called Sora Collection. Showcased at the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025, the project will showcase the Kingdom’s rich history and heritage, starting with the capital city. 

With Sora Collection, the Princess invites readers to explore Saudi Arabia’s diverse regions through a celebration of culture, history, and identity.

The beautifully designed book acts as a curated guide to the Kingdom’s historical landmarks, including Al-Masmak Fortress and the UNESCO-listed Diriyah, alongside modern icons such as the Kingdom Tower and Al-Faisaliah Tower.

Princess Sora started the series back in 2022. She shares, “It took time to bring together all the right elements, from the concept and design to the storytelling, to present it in the best way possible.”

Designed to be both creative and accessible, Sora Collection covers all regions of Saudi Arabia. “I wanted to create something that could serve as a starting point for readers, especially children, to spark curiosity and exploration,” she explains. “Each book is meant to inspire, and to live beautifully as a coffee-table piece that invites conversation, pride, and a deeper connection to our culture.”

“Riyadh is more than a book; it’s an invitation to connect with our roots,” Princess Sora adds. She hopes readers will feel pride in where they come from, curiosity to learn more, and inspiration to preserve culture while embracing the future. “Every page is a reminder that our capital is not only a place of progress and vision, but also a city built on heritage, resilience, and heart.”

For Princess Sora, this is only the beginning. “The next book will take readers to another region of Saudi Arabia, each with its own rhythm, traditions, and beauty,” she reveals. “My goal is to celebrate all 13 regions, weaving their stories into a tapestry that reflects who we are as a nation: united in diversity, rich in culture, and timeless in spirit.”

For the Princess, this marks only the beginning of a story that will continue to unfold, region by region, dream by dream.
