Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa welcomed their daughter Princess Iman back in August.
Taking a short break from parenthood duties, Princess Rajwa Al Hussein undertook her first public engagement since giving birth to Iman back in August. The 30-year-old princess was seen arriving at Amman International Stadium alongside her husband, HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein, to support their national football team in its match against Oman.
The royal couple was delighted as their national team won the match against Oman with a score of 4-0. The match was played as Jordan vies to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, which would be their first.
Upon their arrival, Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa were welcomed by the cheering crowd, eager to see the princess, whose last appearance was on the day she left the hospital with her newborn daughter, Princess Iman.
For her first public engagement post-giving birth, the Jordanian royal wore a casual outfit. She was dressed all in black, with an elegant black jacket over a Jordanian national team shirt featuring the national flag, paired with white sneakers for a sporty touch.
The Jordanian royal couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Princess Iman, on August 3. She was born at the King Hussein Medical Center (KHMC) in Jordan.
“The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein were blessed, on 3 August 2024, with a baby girl they named Iman,” the Court announced. “The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to Their Royal Highnesses and to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this happy occasion.”
Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa tied the knot in a royal wedding on June 1, 2023, that drew an iconic royal guest list worldwide.
