The Jordanian royal family turned out in full force in San Francisco to support the national team during its second match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Leading the royal family was His Majesty King Abdullah II, joined by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa.
Also in attendance was Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Al Hussein, who made her World Cup debut at just one year old, marking her first appearance alongside the family at football’s biggest tournament.
Dressed in Jordan’s red national team jerseys, the royals joined thousands of supporters at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium to cheer on Jordan during its World Cup match against Algeria.
As the young princess joined her family for the match, she was seen in the arms of her mother, Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa, while also sharing several heartwarming moments with her grandfather, His Majesty King Abdullah II, which quickly went viral across social media.

Also in attendance were Her Royal Highness Princess Salma bint Abdullah and His Royal Highness Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, who is currently on his summer break from university. They were joined by their brother-in-law, Mr Jameel Thermiotis, as well as a number of princes and princesses from the Jordanian royal family.
“We are proud of our national team, grateful for everything you gave on the pitch, and know how much you wanted to make Jordanians proud. And congratulations to Algeria on the win” Prince Al Hussein posted on Instagram after the match. (Jordan lost, 2-1, to Algeria.)
