Emirati creative and entrepreneur Mthayel Ali Ali will be representing Bvlgari as its Emirati ambassador at Milan Fashion Week. A supremely proud moment for the UAE, Mthayel, a longtime associate of the brand, has frequented its campaigns, with her latest appearance in the Diva Collection that marked Emirati Women’s Day this year.

Referencing the moment as a “dream come true,” Mthayel announced the news on her official Instagram account today. “Back in 2011, I was a fan, cheering for any Arab blogger – as few as they were – who had the chance to be part of fashion weeks,” she wrote. “I remember thinking to myself that I wish I can do that one day and that I deserve to be there too,” added Mthayel, who is the founder of creative agency Takhayyal.

In her signature spirited fashion, she went on to say, “10 years later, here I am at Milan Fashion Week with Bvlgari. Not only is it my first fashion week but also as the first Emirati woman who is representing such an iconic brand in Italy.”
