Louis Vuitton Introduces a New Chapter of City Guide Resorts

Since 1998, Louis Vuitton has firmly established itself as the loyal companion for discerning travellers with its City Guide collection. Both practical and inspiring, each title is an invitation to explore the world’s most beautiful cities through a unique lens. This year, Louis Vuitton is recommending unmissable places to visit in Bordum, Marbella, Portofino and Taormina through a new compact and illustrated format.

Each sun-drenched destination is brought to light through guides by independent writers and guests from all walks of life. Sailor, chef and poet Fatih Baş unveils Bodrum, while gallerist Isolina Arbulu accompanies us through the streets of Marbella; architect, designer and journalist Clara Bona and artist Alessandro Florio respectively recount their Portofino and Taormina.

It also provides an opportunity for artists Blexbolex, Brice Postma Uzel, Aline Zalko and Audrey Spiry to depict the picturesque charm of these Mediterranean gems in a series of illustrations, each in their own unique style. Showcasing their distinctive artistic sensibility, they strive to reveal both the iconic landmarks and hidden gems of these four destinations for an unforgettable travel experience.

The Louis Vuitton City Guide is a trend-book: an inimitable influencer that addresses every travel profile, from the sight-seer to the business voyager to the inhabitant.

It features a selection of palaces and small, charming hotels; great gourmet establishments and neighbourhood bistros; popular markets and fine foods shops; antiques dealers and designers; museums and clothing shops; must-see monuments and best-kept secrets.

The mobile application, available on iPhone and iPad, further enriches the guide’s insider vision of travel in a digital format. The online version covers all the cities featured in the catalogue, and the thousands of listings are regularly updated. It also offers a range of exclusive content such as confidential spots, urban wanderings, a cultural agenda, authors’ viewpoints, and photo portfolios.
