Dubai Fashion Week’s Spring/Summer 2027 edition has officially come to a close, wrapping up five days of runway shows and presentations at Dubai Design District. The final day brought together an international closing line-up, with Indian couturier Tarun Tahiliani bringing the week to a grand close.
Here’s a closer look at the shows.
Christopher Italy

Marking Dubai Fashion Week’s cross-continental outlook, Christopher Italy’s show brought a distinctly Italian design vision to the d3. Presented more as a theatrical act rather than a runway walkdown, the show felt refreshing and with Italian craftsmanship placed front and centre. The vibrant and playful collection offered a European counterpart to the region’s emerging and established talents.
Joséphine

The Vietnam-based label Joséphine followed with a collection built around romantic femininity. Guided by their philosophy that luxury must feel intentional rather than excess, their SS27 collections at the runway featured refined silhouettes, delicate hand embellishments, and meticulous detailing. Fitting into the final evening mood perfectly, the collection was soft and dreamy, showcasing dresses designed for memorable occasions.
Tarun Tahiliani

Tarun Tahiliani closed the evening with his much-anticipated “Many Moods of Tarun Tahiliani”, a collection that bridged Indian artisanal craft with Arab couture sensibilities. The colour palette of orange, bronze, crimson, and burgundy, with flashes of velvet green and regal white, was paired with fluid silks, meticulous draping, and rich textures, reworking classic silhouettes with a modern Indian lens. Lebanese singer Maya Diab brought star presence to the runway wearing an embellished silver-grey lehenga, closing the week on a high note.
