Brands For Beirut: Shop From These 4 Labels That Are Donating Money To Lebanon

The scars of the explosion that shook the world and left Beirut in shambles on 4 August will take time to heal. As citizens take to the streets protesting for reforms to rebuild the country, fashion brands and NGOs across the world are reaching out to help support the nation during this tumultuous time. Here, we’ve listed four brands for you to consider shopping from, as a large percentage of the profits will be directed towards helping rebuild Beirut.

Reemami

Sharjah-based Palestinian fashion designer Reema Al Banna’s brand Reemami  are dropping a limited-edition unisex t-shirt with unique hand-sketched designs. 90% of proceeds from the sale will go to Lebanese Red Cross, Impact Lebanon and Offre Joie.  The pieces will be shipped on 31 August.

Also, Freedom

Based  in Los-Angeles, clothing brand Also, Freedom is donating 100% of their proceeds from the sale of their ‘Free Generation’, Baby Girl Tee and the UNIFY Longsleeved Dress towards helping rebuild small businesses and entrepreneurs, who have been affected by the explosion.

Repossi 

Italian jewelry brand  Repossi responded to the tragic event in Beirut by unveiling the new Berbere Chromatic ring, all profits from the sale of which will be donated to the Lebanese Red Cross

Dikkeni

Collaborating with artist Nouri Flayhan,online concept store Dikkeni has put together special pieces of work in solidarity with Lebanon.  All proceeds from the sales will be directed towards the brand’s parent organization Impact Lebanon’s fundraiser for local Lebanese NGOs. The pieces are available for pre-ordering.
