As luxury travel companies expand their private jet expeditions, exploring several countries in one journey has become an increasingly appealing way to see the world. Here are five experiences taking travel to new heights.
Private aviation has long been part of luxury travel, but more hospitality brands and specialist operators are rethinking how it fits into the holiday itself. More than simply chartering an aircraft to reach a destination, travellers can now embark on carefully planned, multi-country expeditions, with private flights, exceptional hotels and exclusive experiences arranged as part of one itinerary.
The appeal goes beyond convenience. These journeys offer access to remote destinations, private cultural encounters, and specialist guides, while eliminating much of the planning. This increasingly sophisticated approach to exploring the world is attracting attention. Here are five of the experiences to discover.
Aman

Aman’s newly announced 2028 private jet expeditions, organised with Remote Lands, will accommodate just 16 to 18 guests per journey. Among the new itineraries is Cultural Treasures of Asia, a 15-night trip through Japan, Cambodia, China, Bhutan and India, including a helicopter flight over Angkor Wat and a visit to the Taj Mahal. Another, From Islands to Ancient Worlds, connects Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, the Maldives, Dubai and parts of southeastern Europe, with stays at several of Aman’s most distinctive properties.
Four Seasons

One of the established names in private jet travel, Four Seasons operates journeys aboard a customised aircraft accommodating 48 guests. Its 2028 Uncharted Discovery itinerary covers seven destinations over 21 days, beginning in Los Angeles before visiting Mexico, Machu Picchu, Buenos Aires and Antarctica, followed by Cartagena and Puerto Rico. Guests enjoy Four Seasons hospitality throughout the journey, including a dedicated concierge, executive chef, and physician.
Abercrombie & Kent

Luxury travel specialist Abercrombie & Kent emphasises cultural encounters and expert-led exploration. Its 2027 Africa: Across a Continent by Private Jet expedition spends 22 days exploring the continent, with destinations including Tunisia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Botswana, Benin and Morocco. Experiences range from wildlife encounters in the Maasai Mara to exploring Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park and staying at a private desert camp in Morocco.
National Geographic Expeditions

For travellers interested in wildlife and conservation, National Geographic Expeditions offers private-jet itineraries led by specialists and naturalists. Its 23-day Wildlife of the World journey in 2027 visits destinations including Malaysian Borneo, Rwanda, India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Madagascar and the Maldives. Guests can track Bengal tigers, observe mountain gorillas and explore protected wildlife reserves, with expert-led talks and excursions throughout.
TCS World Travel

For those with ambitions to explore on a grander scale, TCS World Travel’s Seven Continents by Private Jet expedition covers 14 destinations in 29 days. Departing in December 2027, the journey includes Machu Picchu, Easter Island, the Great Barrier Reef, Angkor Wat, the Taj Mahal, Antarctica, the Maasai Mara and Egypt. Travelling aboard a customised Airbus A321 with 52 guests, the itinerary combines major cultural landmarks with wildlife encounters and natural wonders.
