Saudi brand Abadia puts on first pop-up at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann

Abadia is introducing Arabian craftsmanship to the heart of Paris with its first ever pop-up at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann.

The brand’s debut pop-up at the iconic department store is running until June 25th as a part of the Le Nouveau Cool month which celebrates circularity and sustainability initiatives. The pop-up space will showcase Abadia’s Spring Summer 2024 collection, reflecting the brand’s distinct aesthetic, and its famous blend between masculine and feminine structures.

Debuting on Net-A-Porter and Harvey Nichols online this year, Abadia integrates traditional weaving techniques of sadu, spinning together heritage and contemporary design. “Through our designs, we hope to inspire dialogue, spark curiosity, and foster a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of cultures,” says founder, Shahd Alshehail.

The brand’s values are rooted in history and craftsmanship while catering to the multifaceted woman whose fashion choices reflect her values and lifestyle. This integration showcases Abadia’s commitment to celebrating the rich cultural traditions of the Arabian Peninsula.

Abadia’s pop-up at the Galeries Lafayette will be placed on the 2nd floor, overlooking the dome. This debut marks a significant change in the brand’s journey to the global market, offering customers at Galeries Lafayette a glimpse into Abadia’s values, craftsmanship, and design philosophy. “I’m honored and excited to showcase Abadia at the iconic Galerie Lafayette Haussmann. My goal has always been to put fashion and craftsmanship from the Arabian peninsula on the global map,” Shahd comments.

Abadia is an ethical luxury brand that advocates for reimagining fashion for a modern woman by creating timeless additions for their customers’ wardrobes. The brand takes pride in their sustainable yet creative designs and focuses on their impact on people and the environment.

The Middle Eastern House has established its values strongly by creating clothes that withstand short lived trends. They cater their pieces to women who resonate with the brand’s story and purchase pieces that can be passed onto generations.

This collaboration marks a significant step in Abadia’s global audience expansion and puts fashion from the Gulf on the map. Keep your eyes on Abadia as the House is set to make its debut appearance at Paris Fashion Week in June.
