Dear friends,
Today, I contemplate love. Love, in my opinion, has led to the creation of some of the most beautiful tributes, from the monumental Taj Mahal, to literature books, to masterpiece paintings hung in museums. The poem is a tribute to a nameless muse who has inspired me to write. I may not understand why we crossed paths, but since we never started, we’ll never end. This goes out to anyone who loves and is loved – let’s celebrate the many joys of true love, the kind that’s infinite.
Some ten years ago, or maybe more
Or maybe it all happened a million years ago
Before there was a you
and before there was a me
A needle, a thread
Sewn, souls that were meant to be
I look for a beginning, for an end
But as you and I never were
You and I will never end
With love,
Alia
