La Réserve Seychelles Brings Private Island Living to Praslin

La Réserve Seychelles has officially opened on Praslin Island, bringing the luxury hospitality brand’s first Indian Ocean address to one of the Seychelles’ most beautifully preserved destinations. Set within a secluded four-hectare estate between tropical forest and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, the property introduces an intimate collection of just six private villas.

Designed for travellers seeking the exclusivity of a private residence alongside the service of a luxury hotel, La Réserve Seychelles offers an exceptionally spacious and private island escape. Each villa includes a private swimming pool and direct beach access, while dedicated teams take care of every detail of a guest’s stay.

The six villas range from 695 to 880 square metres and feature between four and six bedrooms, making them especially suited to families, groups and multigenerational holidays. Generous living areas, expansive outdoor spaces and a strong sense of seclusion allow guests to gather, entertain and unwind entirely on their own terms.

Designed by Valérie Garcia and Kristian Gavoille, the villas draw on Praslin’s natural beauty and character. Tropical gardens frame the residences, while interiors combine pink granite, natural woods and locally crafted pieces to create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.

The La Réserve Seychelles experience is all about the highly personalised hospitality. Every villa comes with a dedicated housekeeper, private chef and maître de maison, allowing guests to shape each day around their own rhythm. From relaxed family breakfasts to private dinners and days spent exploring the island, the offering is designed to feel personal, flexible and discreet.

Dining is equally relaxed and personal. Guests can enjoy bespoke meals prepared by private chefs in their villas or visit Moutya, the property’s beachfront restaurant, where fresh catches of the day are served in a laid-back setting overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Beyond the villas, the resort encourages guests to embrace a slower pace of island life. The Boat House provides kayaks, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment, while nearby islands including La Digue, Cousin and Curieuse offer further opportunities for discovery.

Wellbeing is also woven into the experience. Drawing on the expertise of Switzerland’s Clinique Nescens, treatments focused on sleep, nutrition and regeneration can be arranged within the privacy of each villa.

With only six villas across four hectares of tropical nature, La Réserve Seychelles offers a rare balance of privacy, space and personalised service. It is now open and welcoming guests.
