Luxury houses have pushed the boundaries of art and fashion through relevant and thought-provoking collaborations with artists, exploring house codes through a renewed perspective. Regional designer brands have collaborated with international artists, combining local heritage with global design language. Similar collaborations between international houses and regional artists have also delivered meaningful and fascinating creations.
We take a look at some of the most compelling partnerships in recent times.
Noon by Noor x Sarah Walker

For their Spring/Summer 2027 collection “Valparaíso”, Noon by Noor collaborated with artist Sarah Walker to present designs guided by the language of collage and partitioning. Walker’s residency in the Chilean coastal city inspired her original Watercolour on Paper series, with “Valparaiso” drawing directly from it. Translated seamlessly onto fluid silk satin, georgette prints, and hand-painted display pieces, Walker’s abstract landscapes inject vibrant bursts of orange, blue, and green into the house’s signature silhouettes and tailoring.
International brands leaning into regional storytelling have produced meaningful collaborations with artists, connecting with local taste through bespoke creations. These collaborations explored design and form beyond wearable pieces, creating experiential, fun, and joyful interpretations of signature designs.
Boucheron x Yasmin Al Mulla
In 2025, Boucheron celebrated their newly redesigned boutique situated in the Galleria Mall in Abu Dhabi. The maison collaborated with Emirati artist Yasmin Al Mulla to create an exclusive artwork for permanent display at the boutique, the creation defined as a dialogue between identity and artistry, heritage and craftsmanship. The artwork combines the flowing lines of Arabian sands with Boucheron’s timeless Quatre Grosgrain motif, creating a dialogue between the enduring spirit of UAE and Boucheron artistry.
Mulberry x Mira Mikati
Celebrating the Year of Dragon, British designer house Mulberry collaborated with Lebanese artist Mira Mikati in 2024 to create a vibrant capsule collection. The collection reinterprets iconic Mulberry silhouettes through Mikati’s signature cheerful, pop-art lens, infusing luxury leathercraft with candy pinks, blues, and yellows. Central to the collaboration is an original, mischievous smiling dragon character designed by Mikati, which animates bag straps, 3D keyrings, ready-to-wear pieces, and accessories. The partnership seamlessly bridges sustainable British craftsmanship with high-energy, regional storytelling.
Loro Piana x Mattar Bin Lahej
In 2021, celebrating UAE National Day, Italian luxury house Loro Piana collaborated with renowned Emirati artist Mattar Bin Lahej, reimagining the National Anthem in his own Arabic font. The collaboration featured a 5.5-metre stainless steel sculpture that was unveiled at the Etihad Museum alongside 50 limited-edition cashmere plaids signed by Bin Lahej.
