Hermès Sets January 2027 Date for Haute Couture Debut

Hermès has officially confirmed that its highly anticipated haute couture debut will take place during Paris Haute Couture Week in January 2027, marking a significant new chapter for the French luxury house.

Artistic director, Nadège Vanhée

The collection will be led by women’s artistic director Nadège Vanhée, whose understated and refined approach to design has become synonymous with Hermès’ modern identity. While details of the inaugural collection remain under wraps, the maison has been quietly laying the foundations for its couture expansion since announcing its plans to enter the category last year.

As part of this move, Hermès has established a dedicated haute couture atelier, which is expected to employ around 20 specialised artisans. The investment reflects the brand’s long-standing commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and reinforces its position at the highest end of the luxury market.

The launch comes at a time when Hermès has continued to outperform many of its competitors despite a wider slowdown in global luxury demand, further cementing its reputation as one of the industry’s most resilient fashion houses.

With anticipation already building, all eyes will be on Paris this January as Hermès unveils its vision for haute couture for the very first time.
