Regional Fashion Brands Giving Back to the Community

Revealing some of the brands who are creating with purpose

Across the region, a growing number of fashion brands are redefining what it means to create with purpose. Beyond aesthetics and craftsmanship, these labels are building meaningful connections with communities, supporting artisans, preserving heritage techniques and contributing to important social causes. From fine jewellery initiatives supporting women’s health to fashion brands empowering artisans and displaced communities, these designers are demonstrating how creativity can also drive positive change.

Amal Necklace, Lana Al Kamal Jewelry

Lana Al Kamal Jewelry is launching a meaningful collaboration with Al Jalila Foundation in the UAE to support women’s health, with a particular focus on women facing cancer. Titled Amal, meaning hope, the initiative will run until May 2026, with proceeds from a specially designed 18K gold-and-diamond piece contributing directly to support programmes. Rooted in the brand’s belief in women empowering women, the collaboration reflects a thoughtful approach to design, where jewellery becomes more than an adornment, but a symbol of resilience and solidarity.
