Dubai’s Most Anticipated Hotel Openings in 2026

Dubai’s hotel landscape rarely stands still, but 2026 signals a particularly interesting moment. A new wave of openings reveals how luxury hospitality in Dubai is headed into design-led and experience-driven hospitality, with a mix of global firsts, reimagined icons, and destination resorts.

Six Senses The Palm, Dubai

Opening in 2026, Six Senses’ first Dubai property arrives with a notably intimate footprint for Palm Jumeirah. With just 61 guestrooms alongside 162 branded residences, the resort occupies a private stretch of the West Crescent, placing value on space and privacy. As expected, wellness sits at the core, anchored by a signature Six Senses Spa and a members-style social and wellness club. Restaurants, pools, and a library complete the offering, positioning the resort as a lifestyle-led retreat.

Kimpton Dubai

Scheduled to open in Q1 2026, Kimpton Dubai marks the brand’s debut in the Emirate. Set along the Business Bay Canal, the 280-room boutique hotel brings Kimpton’s relaxed, design-forward approach to a central address. Three dining concepts, a rooftop pool, spa, and fitness facilities suggest a property designed as much for city residents as visiting travellers, aligning well with the area’s evolving lifestyle identity.

Gran Meliá Dubai

Opening in Jumeirah in 2026, Gran Meliá Dubai introduces a double-fronted beachfront presence overlooking Port de La Mer Marina. The five-star property features a 140-metre private beach and will house Dubai’s first Novikov Beach venue, adding a culinary anchor to its offering. With its positioning between resort and marina living, the hotel targets a guest seeking both access and atmosphere.

InterContinental Resort Portofino

Set within The Heart of Europe on The World Islands, InterContinental Resort Portofino is slated to open in early 2026. The Italian-inspired resort will feature 466 rooms and suites, drawing on Riviera-style architecture and resort-scale amenities. It forms part of a broader vision to transform the islands into a multi-experience leisure destination just off Dubai’s coast.

Baccarat Hotel & Residences Dubai

Launching in Downtown Dubai in 2026, Baccarat Hotel & Residences introduces the storied French crystal house to the UAE hospitality scene. The twin towers, Le Rouge and Le Noir, take visual cues from Baccarat’s crystal heritage, translating it into a contemporary urban landmark that blends hotel living with branded residences.

Kempinski Floating Palace

Set to open in 2026, Kempinski Floating Palace brings an unconventional concept to Dubai’s shoreline. The floating resort will feature luxury accommodation, dining, spa facilities, and private yacht access, offering a stay that blurs the line between hotel and a seafaring experience.
