Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2026 returns for its 29th edition from 2 July to 30 August, bringing more than 60 days of shopping, dining, entertainment, staycations, and family experiences across the city. Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) under the theme “Make it a Dubai Summer,” this year’s festival promises exceptional value through exclusive promotions, live performances, culinary experiences, and citywide attractions.
The festival opens with a lively programme of concerts and performances from 2 to 5 July, featuring Emirati artists Saif Al Ali and Arqam Al Abri, alongside regional stars Rahma Riad and Nassif Zeytoun. Audiences can also enjoy the Samratna live Khaleeji concert, the nostalgic Assem Sukkar Spacetoon Concert, and the Kuwaiti comedy Khairan Resort at Dubai Opera.
Families can once again enjoy Modesh World at Dubai World Trade Centre from 3 July to 23 August, while the beloved mascots Modesh and Dana will make appearances across the city. This year’s edition also introduces several new attractions, including the DSS Luxe Edition, offering elevated shopping experiences, exclusive brand activations, and personalised luxury services, alongside the Back-to-School Carnival, SME pop-ups, and the DSS Performance Arts Fest.
Shopping remains at the heart of DSS, with the return of the Great Dubai Summer Sale, offering discounts of up to 90%, followed by Back to School promotions throughout August. Shoppers can also look forward to daily flash sales, major raffles, luxury prizes, cars, cash rewards, jewellery promotions, and the opportunity to win one of 12 residential units through the Win Your Home in Dubai campaign.
Food lovers can enjoy the extended Summer Restaurant Week from 13 July to 2 August, while the popular 10 Dirham Dish returns from 3 to 30 August, making it easier than ever to explore Dubai’s vibrant dining scene at exceptional value.
The entertainment calendar includes the return of Beat the Heat concert series, performances by Cairokee, Dystinct, Issam Najjar, Rasha Rizk, Al Shami, and Leen Hayek, as well as The Miami Show, comedian Atul Khatri, Candlelight Concerts, and immersive family activations across Dubai’s leading malls.
Beyond shopping and entertainment, DSS 2026 offers hundreds of hotel packages, staycation deals, indoor attractions, and wellness experiences. Returning highlights include the Dubai Mallathons, indoor fitness events, alongside FIFA World Cup-themed activations designed to bring communities together throughout the summer.
