The Berkeley, the landmark five-star hotel nestled between bustling Knightsbridge and leafy Belgravia, will once again open its legendary rooftop – usually reserved for staying guests – to all for summer 2026. From the evening of Friday 1st May, The Berkeley Rooftop Bar will see the return of Capri in the City, this year in collaboration with friends of the hotel, Acqua di Parma.

Back by popular demand, the seasonal poolside pop up is inspired by the island’s picturesque, cove studded coastline and its endless blue Mediterranean Sea views. Surrounded by lemon trees and unrivalled views of Hyde Park and the London skyline, Capri in the City will celebrate Italy’s colourful, laid back beach clubs with a brand-new Riviera-inspired menu of cocktails and dishes, offering Londoners the chance to live the dolce vita lifestyle in the capital.

The Berkeley Rooftop Bar will open to the public Wednesday to Sunday from 7:30pm, every week. Bookings are now open, for tables, here Berkeley Rooftop Pool | The Berkeley Rooftop Pool & Bar.
The Berkeley will serve up a series of Capri-inspired cocktails and refreshing spritzes. Highlights include the‘Capri Negroni’, a refreshing negroni with citrus notes blending O’ndina gin, Amalfi lemon, Campari, dry vermouth, chamomile and fig leaf.
For those hot summer nights, the signature ‘Granita della casa’ offers a revitalising mix of Aperol, freshly squeezed Amalfi lemon juice and sugar, complete with freshly shaved ice. Celebrated spritzes, craft beers and wines will also feature.

Capri in the City returns to The Berkeley rooftop, bringing the spirit of the Italian coast to London with poolside pizzas, handmade focaccia, fresh seafood dishes, and classic Italian desserts including tiramisu and Amalfi lemon sorbet with Limoncello.
Guests are welcomed through a vibrant mural by Italian artist Chiara Perano before arriving at the rooftop overlooking Knightsbridge, Belgravia, and Hyde Park. Open to all from May 1, 2026, visitors can reserve tables or enjoy striped loungers and cocktails in one of London’s most exclusive summer settings.
Whilst the pool itself is not open for guests of Capri in the City, sun loungers are available for walk-ins and tables can be booked here Berkeley Rooftop Pool | The Berkeley Rooftop Pool & Bar.
