George Azzi and Assaad Osta transported us to the French Riviera for their Spring-Summer 2020 collection. Titled ‘Villa Valentina’, the collection encapsulates jewel tones, from deep pink to sunflower yellow to turquoise to purple, all an ode to the sun-drenched escapism that the Riviera summons up.

“We go to Cannes a lot,” Azzi tells Villa 88. So, it’s no surprise that an entire collection was inspired by the resort town’s cliffs and the Mediterranean Sea. “The idea is that the Azzi and Osta woman would flow with the wind,” he paints a picture. The use of fabrics such as tulle, silk and sequins adds to the idea that the woman wearing the collection will be captured by the wind that blows near the French Riviera.

Inspired by the villas of the Riviera and their unique architecture and captivating gardens, both Azzi and Osta have created the perfect cocktail dress, tailored jumpsuits, and sweeping capes for any occasion.
