Here’s What You Need To Know About The Jewellery And Watch Show That Starts Tomorrow In Abu Dhabi

The 27th edition of the Jewellery and Watch Show opens in Abu Dhabi tomorrow under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Minister of Tolerance. With 150 exhibitions from over 25 countries, the five-day event promises stellar showcases of jewellery and watches, rarely found in retail outlets.

Expect to peruse pieces from countries including Brazil, Lebanon, Italy, India, United Kingdom and Thailand. There will also be an Emirati Designer Gallery that aims at promoting local designers and traditional jewelry. What’s more? The EBD’AA Award that has been organized by the first Emirati jewelry designer, Azza Al Qubaisi, will take place tomorrow, marking the beginning to the festive and celebratory event.

Visitors will also be able to see the World’s Most Valuable Guitar, known as the Eden of Coronet, owned by Aaron Shum Jewelry of Hong Kong, the parent company of Lifestyle Fine Jewellery. Adorned with over 11,000 diamonds and worth a whopping Dhs7.3million, it’s expected to pull crowds.
