Aljoud Lootah

Emirati multidisciplinary designer Aljoud Lootah founded her eponymous studio in 2014 and has since created bespoke furniture, objects and collectible designs for notable organizations. Last year, she was commissioned to create the official gift that was presented to Pope Francis on his visit to the UAE. Emirati artist Mattar Bin Lahej is one of the most influential figures in the UAE art scene, with his calligraphic paintings and architectural monuments, from Dubai’s Museum of the Future to Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, recognized the world over. Among his accolades is being awarded a Dubai Star on the Walk of Fame last year. He’s also the founder of Marsam Mattar, the first Emirati institute created to mentor artists and emerging talent. Emirati visual artist Ashwaq Abdulla is the first local creative to design the official trophy for the 2019 Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic in California, USA, the world’s longest-running women’s-only professional tennis tournament. She also designed the trophy for the 2019 Mubadala World Tennis Championship that took place in Abu Dhabi, which was presented to Rafael Nadal. Also to her credit are projects such as the creation of more than 300 artworks for a luxury resort in Abu Dhabi.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
