For Summer 2027, ZEGNA revisits the Italian tradition of La Villeggiatura, the art of relocating life for a season. More than a holiday, it is a mindset rooted in saper vivere and saper vestire: carrying daily rituals, elegance, and ways of living from one place to another while embracing a slower rhythm.

Presented at Malibu Pier, the collection translates this philosophy into a contemporary wardrobe shaped by movement, ease, and cultivated leisure. The location also reflects ZEGNA’s long-standing commitment to nature through its support of California State Parks, extending a vision first expressed more than a century ago with Oasi Zegna, where landscape and life exist in dialogue.

Under the direction of Alessandro Sartori, Summer 2027 explores dressing for modern, fluid lifestyles while remaining grounded in timeless codes. “Everything starts from fabrics,” Sartori explains, emphasising ZEGNA’s ongoing experimentation with texture, construction, and subtle transformations that continually renew classic forms.

The silhouette is relaxed yet precise: vertical, fluid, and designed to move naturally with the body. Striped tailoring appears throughout as the visual rhythm of the collection, with suits worn alongside matching shirts to create a sophisticated take on colour blocking. Shirts in nappa, nubuck, crocodile, and silk are paired with tailored shorts, while modular details encourage versatility, detachable collars, adjustable half-belts, and the return of the multifunctional double-breasted jacket.

Elsewhere, fluid overshirts, soft knitted jackets, leather anoraks, and intarsia bombers reference nautical dressing through a luxury lens. Textural contrasts continue through braided suede, knitted finishes, towelling pieces, and endless combinations of stripes and weaves.

Accessories complete the world of La Villeggiatura with soft leather slippers and moccasins, oversized totes and duffels, squared sunglasses, silk scarves, and relaxed tailoring designed for elegant ease.

The palette draws directly from coastal life, fluid aquatic tones of acqua, onda, alga, and marea meet vibrant accents and warm neutrals, while fabrics range from washed hemp and Oasi Lino to raw silk canvas, jacquard stripes, seersucker, velvet, and supple nappa leather.

With Summer 2027, ZEGNA proposes a wardrobe not simply for travel, but for living, one that moves with life while maintaining the quiet confidence of Italian elegance.
