For years, the UAE’s fashion identity was largely shaped by its vast shopping malls and the steady arrival of international luxury houses. The country was seen more as a destination for retail and consumption than as a producer of fashion talent. That perception has shifted. In recent years, a growing number of homegrown brands have emerged, building loyal followings locally while beginning to attract attention beyond the region.
From expatriate founders launching businesses in Dubai to Emirati designers developing their own labels, the UAE is steadily carving out a place within the global fashion scene. For those looking to support local creativity, these are some of the brands shaping the country’s evolving fashion landscape.

Carter & White
Founded in 2016 by Emirati entrepreneur Marwan bin Yousef Al Serkal, Dubai-based Carter & White has built its name on understated, quiet luxury. The brand is known for using premium Egyptian Giza cotton to create elevated essentials designed to stay comfortable in the intense GCC heat.
Originally focused on high-quality undershirts, Carter & White has grown into a full menswear lifestyle label. Its offering now includes tailored polos, well-cut T-shirts, and refined loungewear, all made with an emphasis on softness, durability, and subtle detailing.
For Ramadan, the brand has introduced a capsule collection featuring buttoned trousers, airy linen shirts, and crewneck T-shirts in colors such as navy, mahogany brown, and white. A special Ramadan Kareem gift box completes the capsule collection, including home sprays, a signature fragrance for those special Ramadan evenings, and a copy of the Holy Quran.

Kachins Couture
For anyone in search of a perfectly fitted suit, Kachins stands as one of Dubai’s oldest and most respected bespoke houses in the region. Founded in 1981, the homegrown brand has grown from a traditional local tailor into a luxury fashion house dressing the city’s business elite and international celebrities.
Specialising in bespoke and made-to-measure formalwear, Kachins carry with some of the world’s finest fabrics, working with mills, including Loro Piana, Zegna, Scabal, and Holland & Sherry. The house has become known for its exquisite suits, tuxedos, and blazers with exacting attention to detail, mirroring the Dubai experience of getting a suit from London’s Savile Row.
Over the years, the family-run brand has expanded to several locations across Dubai. Artigian by Kachins at One Central in the World Trade Centre offers its most premium experience.
Meanwhile, Kachin’s Signature in Business Bay focuses on sharp tailoring for the corporate crowd. They also have a location in Dubai Marina, Kachins Couture, for clients living on the south side of the city and in Bur Dubai, where the brand’s story all started.

Precious Trust
Established in 2018 by Algerian designer Wathek Allal, Precious Trust has become a beloved name in Dubai’s streetwear scene. The brand is known for its unisex tracksuits and functional everyday pieces. Many of its collections feature relaxed silhouettes, bold accents and layered styling. Influenced by early 2000s hip hop culture, the collections carry nostalgia yet has its own edge that resonates with a younger audience. Over the years, Precious Trust has expanded its reach through collaborations with Dubai-based label Amongst Few, South Africa’s Pot Plant Club and the Palestinian record label BLTNM. These limited-edition drops have strengthened its name within the region’s growing streetwear community and become a household name.

One of More
Founded in the UAE by Egyptian designer Engy Mahdy and her team, One of More Studio creates modern everyday clothing made from good quality fabrics that feel comfortable yet put together. The men’s collection includes tailored knits, relaxed trousers, and everyday basics designed to be practical, wearable, and easy to style.
