At the 7th edition of ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair, which brought together 110 leading galleries from 18 countries and 57 cities, Functional Art Gallery from Berlin bagged the Best Booth Award. Filled with color and dressed with works by Javier Perés, Ad Minoliti, Manuel Solano, Nick Koenigsknecht and creations by Greem Jeong, the booth boasted the seamless combination of great art and design. The fair, which ran from 7-10 November at Shanghai Exhibition Center, showcased artworks in three themed galleries, namely ‘Detour’, ‘Approach’, ‘Beyond’, with each focused on the limitations we encounter during verbal and nonverbal forms of communication.
