These Maison Dior Homeware Collections Are Just The Dose Of Decorative Arts You Need Today

“Living in a house which doesn’t reflect who you are is like wearing someone else’s clothes,” Christian Dior once said. So true that our houses, especially now more than ever, as we practice social distancing and stay indoors, should mirror our aesthetic vocabulary and offer us comfort and a sense of belonging. And Dior Maison’s homeware collections bring just that joie de vivre to the home, exactly what we need during these trying times.

Dior Maison, which unveiled a space for accessories and gifts for the home in 1947, has rolled out several beautiful collections, among which a recent highlight is Copacabana, an oceanic dream with corals, seaweed and fish motifs. The collection pays homage to sunny Brazil with its escapist scenery and creativity.

Another hero creation is the Dior Gardens line, designed by Cordelia de Castellane and inspired by the spring-summer 2020 ready-to-wear show by Maria Grazia Chiuri. The crockery brings the outside in, summoning up a verdant countryside.

Now might be a good time to explore these wondrous collections and dream up a tablescape for your family. Because what’s a better way to spend time at home than to think about how you can make it more homey?
