The Arts Club in London announced last year that its first international outpost would open its doors in Dubai. The world-renowned exclusive private members’ club has now revealed more about its much-anticipated Middle East launch, which is scheduled for October 2020.
The Arts Club Dubai promises to provide a creative space for entrepreneurs where they can come together to entertain, exchange ideas, dine in and participate in a rich cultural program of events while interacting with like-minded individuals, being a first-of-its-kind entity in the region.
The artistic hub will be located in Dubai’s DIFC, spanning across 65,000 square feet and spread across four storeys. The interior design of the Arts Club Dubai has been conceived by Milan based studio Foster + Partners, and will house a stunning permanent contemporary art collection, alongside changing exhibitions.
The art house will include London brasserie, as well as three brand new restaurants, including a late night members’ lounge. Also available are beautiful private dining rooms and a rooftop events space with sweeping views of Burj Khalifa.
The club’s core lies in its carefully tailored events to which members will be invited, much like the original club in London. The weekly events will include artist studio visits, panel discussions, live music and much more. The membership packages will be available in four tiers: Full, Second, Under 30s and International with annual prices, ranging from Dhs15,750 to Dhs7,875.
The Arts Club was founded in Mayfair, London in 1863. The club was inaugurated by Charles Dickens and Anthony Trollope, among others, as a creative space for people connected by their love of the arts, and the current board members include actress Gwyneth Paltrow and designer Stella McCartney.
