American singer and producer Pharrell Williams teamed up with entrepreneur David Grutman on a new hotel, The Goodtime, located on Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida.
The seven-story hotel is designed by Ken Fulk and it’s all about providing guests with a place where they can escape and have a good time, like the name suggests.
It is comprised of 266 colorful rooms where visitors are encouraged “to explore every corner and tap into their senses of adventure,” as mentioned on the hotel’s website.
The Goodtime Hotel is an explosion of textures, different design aesthetics, and colours, with pink being the dominant one, making it the ultimate whimsical oasis across the city.
The terrace, Strawberry Moon, seems to be the focal point of the hotel, where guests can relax in their poolside cabanas while enjoying drinks such as “purple rain.” The building also features a library and a cutting-edge gym with Peloton bikes and immersive training equipment.
According to the hotel’s website, The Goodtime is set to become a destination in itself that offers a wide range of activities: “from meditation that calms the mind to spaces that cultivate community to music that transports the soul to food that stimulates the spirit, we invite those who stay with us to get lost in the moment.”
