Her Highness Princess Sora Al Saud is the eldest daughter of His Highness Prince Saud bin Saad Al Saud and Her Royal Highness Princess Alia bint Abdullah Al Saud. She has a younger brother, His Highness Prince Badar, and is married to HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud. Princess Sora is also the granddaughter of the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (2005-2015).
The Princess was raised in Saudi Arabia, where she began her academic journey at Effat University before pursuing further studies at the American University. Most recently, she earned a degree from Harvard Business School.
She was profoundly influenced by her late grandfather, King Abdullah, whose wisdom continues to guide her. In a recent reflection, she shared one of the most enduring lessons he taught her — that true leadership is rooted in modesty, in service to others, and in a sincere love for one’s country. “From him, I learnt that we are ambassadors of our nation,” she said, “and that the only legacy worth leaving is the one that lives on in people’s hearts long after we are gone.”

A truly unstoppable force in the world of entrepreneurship and business, she has transformed her creative ideas into successful ventures with a noble purpose. In 2022, she launched So by Sora, a luxury fashion platform that donates a percentage of its profits to charitable causes. Today, Princess Sora oversees nearly ten businesses under her umbrella company, the Sora Saud Trading Company.
Recently, Her Highness Princess Sora bint Saud Al Saud unveiled her latest venture to the world — the launch of her fine jewellery brand, Soly. A deeply personal project, the brand is a tribute to Saudi heritage, with its debut collection beautifully inspired by the traditional agal, reimagined through the lens of modern elegance.
During her time in the United States with her husband, Princess Sora discovered her calling in youth advocacy through her work with the Mentor International Foundation, where she became closely involved and was later appointed as an ambassador.
In 2017, alongside her husband, she co-founded the Ahyaha Foundation. As Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees, Princess Sora has helped lead a number of impactful initiatives, most notably the Bread for All programme, which has significantly improved the lives of individuals and families in Riyadh.
