“I believe that if you’re working towards your passion, with good intent and just happy vibes, things have a way of finding you,” Rawan Bin Hussain says about her foray into social media. At the age of 22, the Kuwaiti influencer has already published a book, has a successful beauty line of matte liquid lipsticks, and a whopping 3.4 million followers on Instagram, which is no mean feat when you take into account she’s also studying for a law degree. “I study extensively whenever I have a long weekend or days off,” she explains.

Social media’s frivolous nature often seems lost on bloggers, but not on Rawan. Keeping her feet firmly rooted in her studies, the budding businesswoman has big academic plans. “I’m doing my Master’s degree next year in Human Rights Law,” she reveals. “In the future, I see myself as a successful entrepreneur with a full beauty house.” Watch out, world! @Rawan
