Giorgio Armani is bringing back its One Night Only event with the Maison’s fashion show in Venice, which will coincide with the 80th edition of the international Film Festival.
The event is meant to celebrate cinema – a lifelong passion of Giorgio Armani. The Armani Privé couture show will be held on 2 September at the Arsenale, followed by an evening party.
This is a return to Venice for Armani, reaffirming his connection with the film festival, which began in 1990 with the world premiere of the documentary Made in Milan, directed by Martin Scorsese.
In the film, the designer discussed his creative process, his family and the role of the Italian city in his work. At the time, Armani held a party to honour Scorsese at Ca’ Leone on Giudecca.
