From UNESCO Headquarters to Front Row at Valentino: A look Into HH Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi’s Recent Trip to Paris

Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, who was recently appointed UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Education and Book Culture, paid a visit to UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France.

Her Highness Sheikha Bodour began her visit with a meeting with UNESCO World Heritage Centre director, Lazare Eloundou Assomo, discussing the responsibilities of stewardship that come with World Heritage recognition, and heritage protection as a duty grounded in research and public understanding.

For the visit, Her Highness Sheikha Bodour was impeccably styled in a full Valentino look, featuring a woolen double-breasted blazer and couture crepe trousers, finished with a small Panthea gold-beige leather crossbody bag from the Italian house.

Later, Her Highness Sheikha Bodour met with the Goodwill Ambassadors Programme team to discuss the scope and priorities of her role. She was named an ambassador in October 2025, in recognition of her global efforts in promoting literacy, publishing, and education.

During her second day, Her Highness Sheikha Bodour held a meeting with UNESCO Director-General Dr Khalid El Enany, marking their first official meeting since the latter’s appointment. The pair discussed books and culture as fundamental building blocks for strong international collaboration.

Her Highness took to Instagram to share photos from the meeting, writing: “As UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Education and Book Culture, my aim is to create meaningful, wide-reaching impact. I was delighted to discuss this with UNESCO Director-General Dr Khalid El Enany, to align my work more closely with UNESCO’s mission through books and publishing.”

Sheikha Bodour looked effortlessly chic in a classic, full Valentino ensemble, wearing a Valentino midi dress paired with a coat from the same brand.

H.H. Sheikha Bodour was spotted yesterday, attending the Italian house’s Spring Summer 2026 Haute Couture runway in a more vibrant look, swapping her usual neutrals for a Valentino fur coat, paired with a purple dress and a red Valentino clutch.
