Princess Lalla Hasnaa and Sheikha Al Mayassa Al Thani join forces to celebrate Fashion Trust Arabia 2024 in royal glamour

Fashion Trust Arabia is a non-profit organisation that provides financial support, guidance and mentorships to emerging designers from across the MENA.

It also functions as a platform of opportunity through which talented Arab designers can grow and receive international recognition.

Under the reign of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser as honorary chair, with co-chairs HE Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani and Tania Fares, the platform is dedicated to supporting and mentoring upcoming designers by giving them a global platform.

With true royal elegance, the Fashion Trust Arabia Gala dinner unfolded last night at the historic Badi Palace in Marrakech, graced by the presence of HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa of Morocco and H.E Sheikha AlMayassa Bint Hamad Al Thani, co-founder of Fashion Trust Arabia.

In a night dedicated to celebrating Arab designers, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa illuminated the event, radiating poise in a stunning Moroccan caftan that beautifully showcased the artistry and craftsmanship of traditional Moroccan fashion.

Also in attendance were Lady Eliza and Lady Amelia Spencer, nieces of the late Princess Diana, alongside a host of celebrities and prominent figures from the fashion industry. Their presence added a touch of modern grace to an already glamorous evening dedicated to celebrating the finest in Arab fashion.

During the gala, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa presented the first award to Egyptian designer Yasmin Mansour in the evening wear category.

In the jewellery category, the Saudi brand APOA, founded by Princesses Noura Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Sara Niaf Al Saud, and Mashael Khalid Al Saud, was also among the winners of the night.

In addition to Jewellery and Evening Wear, the Fashion Trust Arabia Awards 2024 honoured winners in five other categories.
