Across the UAE, women-led design studios are creating interiors that are not only visually striking but also rooted in identity, comfort and the way people actually live. Their work reflects the evolving cultural identity, balancing heritage and local craftsmanship with global influences. 

Here are five design studios you should know.

Studio D04

Studio D04 is led by Noora Al Awar, creative director and co-founder, and Fatima Al Zaabi, managing director and co-founder, with Afnan Amin serving as operations director. The Dubai-based house explores how contemporary design can engage with Emirati identity, with their designs combining cultural heritage with modern digital technologies, traditional craft and design thinking that looks to the future. Its work sits at the intersection of tradition, technology, and craft. 

Styled Habitat

Led by founder and creative director Rabah Saeid, the Dubai-based interior architecture studio works across residential, commercial, hospitality and creative projects. A member of the American Society of Interior Designers, Saeid’s work finds the balance between restrained, understated sensuality and the warmth of belonging. One of their notable works is The Rug Company’s Dubai Bungalow, where the design draws on the character of mid-century villas. 

Noon Design Studio

Founded in 2018 and led by Noura Alsorougi, Noon Design Studio specialises in luxury, bespoke residential interiors, designing homes that are comfortable and deeply liveable. Alsorougi’s approach draws inspiration from nature, using organic textures, and enduring materials to create calm, timeless spaces. 

C’est ici Design 

Founder and Creative Director Monica Arango leads C’est ici Design, an award-winning multidisciplinary studio that works across luxury residential, hospitality, retail, and commercial design in the Middle East, Europe, and beyond. With a language rooted in minimalism, the studio brings together interior architecture, bespoke design, craftsmanship, and styling to create spaces with personality, identity, and emotional resonance. 

Sneha Divias Atelier

At Sneha Divias Atelier, founder and creative director Sneha Divias leads with a design language that carries a childlike warmth across diverse spaces. Specialising in interior architecture and design across residential, hospitality and commercial projects, its work ranges from private villas and apartments to offices, restaurants, cafés, and museums. The spaces are designed with a focus on human experiences.
