Inside the 22nd Edition of the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition

For jewellery aficionados and watch enthusiasts alike, the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) is an event not to be missed. Featuring 49 exhibitors representing more than 500 brands, alongside new experiences and an expanded international presence, the event serves as a platform for both emerging and established designers to showcase their finest creations.

Among the Emirati brands taking part this year is TOi Fine Jewelry which makes its debut at DJWE 2026. The Dubai-based Emirati fine jewellery house, founded by designer Aisha Binhendi, has created a special variation of its signature Whoop Charm exclusively for the event in Doha.

As DJWE continued to welcome visitors from all walks of life, celebrities and royals were among those in attendance. Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, toured the luxury exhibition, continuing a family tradition of attending the event, as her late father did before her.

During her visit, Sheikha Al Mayassa made a special stop at the Qatari Designers Pavilion, where she expressed her pride in the local designers and their creations, many of which draw inspiration from Qatar’s rich heritage and identity. She later shared her appreciation for the participating talents in an Instagram post.

Among the designers taking part is Al Ghala Jewellery, which returns to this year’s exhibition with a collection that reflects Qatar’s identity and heritage.

Established in 2011 by Shaikha Al Ghanem, Al Ghala Jewellery celebrates Qatar’s historic pearling industry through intricate designs crafted from 18- and 21-carat gold, diamonds and precious gemstones. With international recognition, the brand is known for seamlessly blending tradition with modern elegance, while also supporting charitable initiatives such as Education Above All.

The exhibition also welcomed a host of celebrity guests, including Turkish actress Hande Erçel, who toured the halls in an elegant Elie Saab dress, and beauty entrepreneur Nour Arida.

The 22nd edition of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE), held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, is being hosted by Qatar Tourism at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) until October 3.
