As New York Fashion Week continues to unveil the Spring/Summer 2027 collections, the weekend delivered a fresh mix of sharp tailoring, confident minimalism, romantic detailing and bold new-season statements.

From established names refining their house codes to designers pushing silhouettes, texture and proportion in new directions, these are some of the standout moments from the latest shows.

Calvin Klein

For Spring 2027, Veronica Leoni returns Calvin Klein to its most recognisable codes, refining the house’s Nineties minimalism with a sharper, more sensual approach. Foundational pieces, including the coat, shirt, trouser, pencil skirt, and slip, are elongated, narrowed, or cinched at the waist, while tailoring is cut crisp and lean in cotton and lightweight wool. Bias-cut dresses, extra-fine silk T-shirts and fluid evening slips bring softness and movement, balanced by structured jackets and precise separates. The palette moves between black and white with flashes of scarlet, royal blue, bright yellow and citron. Accessories remain equally considered, from metal headbands and pointed scarves to oversized bags in sleek, structural and softly slouchy forms.

Khaite

Khaite placed craftsmanship at the heart of its 10th-anniversary collection, presented at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Drawing on antique corsetry, Venetian references and decades spanning the 1920s to the 1990s, Catherine Holstein explored structure, volume and the ritual of dressing. Crinolines became a recurring foundation, shaping full skirts, minidresses and sculptural silhouettes, while corsetry details appeared beneath midi skirts and evening pieces. Familiar Khaite signatures were reworked too, with oversized leather jackets cropped, lifted and sharpened at the shoulders. Ruffles, sheer layers and drop-waist shapes added movement, while punk-inflected hair brought contrast to the romanticism. The result felt distinctly Khaite: dramatic, darkly feminine and meticulously crafted.

Prabul Gurung

For Spring/Summer 2027, Prabal Gurung found clarity in restraint with “Ray of Light”, a collection shaped by freedom, movement and contrasting sources of inspiration. A recent trip Nepal informed the fluid draping, with references to communal stone fountains, flowing saris, jasmine and marigold woven through the clothes. Elsewhere, the energy of an all-night Brooklyn party introduced a more spontaneous mood. Clean lines and gestural silhouettes appeared in strapless maxis, sarong-style layers and softly knotted dresses, while bright chartreuse, marigold yellow and sunrise tones brought vibrancy. Delicate florals and crochet added texture, balanced by technically complex draping and feathered eveningwear. The result was lighter, more focused and confidently pared back.

Altuzarra

For Spring/Summer 2027, Altuzarra looked to Casa Susanna, the 1960s Catskills retreat where men gathered to dress as women and explore a freer sense of self. The reference shaped a collection that moved fluidly between masculine and feminine codes. Broad-shouldered blazers, leather trousers, detachable collars and polished brogues sat alongside jewel-encrusted dresses, intarsia separates and voluminous madras skirts built over crinolines. Some of the strongest looks brought both sides together, pairing menswear-inspired shirts with bra tops or fluid silk skirts. Raw hems, slipping straps, off-centre cardigans and unbuckled belts introduced a deliberate sense of imperfection, giving the collection a softer, more personal tension between structure, glamour and self-expression.
