From New York to Paris, the Spring/Summer 2027 season is shaping up to be one of the Fashion Month’s most anticipated yet. 

After several seasons defined by creative director changes and major debuts, this September feels like the moment we begin to see what comes next. Designers are settling into their new houses, heritage brands are returning to familiar cities and some of the fashion’s biggest names are preparing to make their mark on the season once again. 

Beginning in New York on September 10th before moving through London, Milan and finally Paris, the month brings together established maisons, emerging names and a number of highly anticipated returns. From Ralph Lauren’s pre fashion week presentation and Sabyasachi’s first appearance on the official New York Fashion Week calendar to McQueen’s return to London and another season of new creative chapters across Milan and Paris, there is plenty to look forward to. 

Here are the shows worth knowing about this Fashion Month. 

New York Fashion Week 

September 10th – 15th

Fashion Month begins in New York, where the calendar mixes some of the city’s most recognisable names with a handful of particularly notable moments. 

Ralph Lauren gets things started a day before the official schedule begins on September 9th. A feature of American luxury, the house is always one to watch for its polished take on timeless dressing and its ability to turn a fashion show into a complete lifestyle moment. 

On September 10th Tommy Hilfiger returns with a show at The Plaza Hotel, bringing the designer’s signature Americana to one of New York’s most iconic locations. Tory Burch also presents that day, followed by Michael Kors Collection and Calvin Klein Collection on September 11th. 

Khaite presents its collection on September 12th, while Carolina Herrera follows on September 14th. Known for its refined femininity and elegant eveningwear, the house remains one of the week’s most anticipated for those looking for a more polished approach to the season. 

The final day brings one of New York’s biggest talking points. Sabyasachi joins the official NYFW calendar for the first time on September 15th, marking an important moment for the Indian Luxury house, before Thom Browne brings the week to a close. 

London Fashion Week 

September 17th – 21st 

London Fashion Week follows from September 17th, with this season’s schedule shaped by a number of anticipated returns and new chapters from some of British fashion’s best-known names. 

Haris Reed opens our selection on September 17th before attention turns to September 20th, one of the busiest days of the week. Simone Rocha, Erdem and Emilia Wickstead all present their Spring/Summer 2027 collections alongside two particular anticipated returns to the London calendar. 

Mulberry returns to the runway under the creative director Christopher Kane who will present his debut collection for the British house. Giving the audience the first look at how Kane will reinterpret Mulberry’s heritage for a new era. 

Later that day, McQueen makes its return to London Fashion Week, with Sean McGirr presenting his Sprint/Summer 2027 womenswear and menswear collections. It marks McGirr’s London debut for the house and brings McQueen back to the city that has played such an important role in its story. 

Burberry closes London Fashion Week on September 21st, during a particularly significant year for the house as it celebrates its 170th anniversary. The same day also marks the opening of The Burberry Trench: Crafting an Icon at the V&A, a new display exploring the evolution of one of the house’s most recognisable designs. 

Milan Fashion Week

September 22nd – 28th 

Fashion Month then moves to Milan, where some of Italy’s biggest houses return alongside a celebration of craftsmanship that has long defined the city’s fashion identity. 

Prada opens the runway schedule on September 22nd, but one of the biggest moments of the day comes later with Vogue World: Milano. Taking over the historic Gallerie Vittorio Emanuele II, this year’s edition will celebrate craftsmanship and the human touch in an increasingly technical world, bringing together fashion, artisans and Italian heritage in the heart of the city. 

Fendi follows on September 23rd, with Maria Grazia Chiuri presenting her second collection for the house, while Missoni and Etro also show that day. September 24th brings Max Mara, Alberta Ferretti, Roberto Cavalli and Emporio Armani, before attention turns to Gucci on September 25th. Demna will present his second ready-to-wear collection for the house, offering another look at how his vision for Gucci is continuing to evolve. Tod’s and The Attico also appear on the day’s schedule. 

The weekend brings together another group of Milan’s most recognisable names. Ferragamo and Dolce & Gabbana show on September 26th, followed later in the day by Bottega Veneta under Louise Trotter. Giorgio Armani then takes to the runway on September 27th, with Silvana Armani continuing the next chapter of the house. 

One notable absence from the schedule is Versace. Pietar Mulier, who officially joined the house earlier this year, is not expected to make his runway debut until 2027, leaving anticipation to build around what his vision of Milan’s most recognisable maisons will look like. 

Paris Fashion Week

September 28th – October 6th

Fashion Month reaches its final stop in Paris, where the Sprint/Summer 2027 calendar brings together some of the industry’s most influential houses. After recent seasons dominated by creative director debuts, this time attention turns to how those new visions continue to develop.

This week gets into full swing on September 29th , with Jonathan Anderson continuing his new era at Dior. Maison Margiela also returns to the Paris calendar after presenting its previous collection in Shanghai and Saint Laurent closes the day. 

September 30th brings together The Row, Balmain, Dries Van Noten and Tom Ford, before Chloe, Balenciaga, Schiaparelli and Isabel Marant take over the schedule on October 1st. 

Another highly anticipated day follows on October 2nd, as Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez continue to shape their vision for Loewe, while Sarah Burton presents for Givenchy. Victoria Beckham also returns to the Paris schedule later that day. 

October 3rd brings some of the week’s most established names together, with Celine, Hermes and Elie Saab all presenting their collections. Alaia will also return with a presentation created by the house’s studio following Pieter Mulier’s departure for Versace, offering the first indication of what comes next for the maison. 

The final few days show little sign of showing down. Miu Miu, Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier take to the calendar on October 4th, alongside Valentino, which returns to Paris after presenting its previous collection in Rome. Zimmerman follows on October 5th before Chanel takes over the evening, with Matthieu Blazy continuing to develop his vision for the house. 

Louis Vuitton brings Paris Fashion Week and Fashion Month itself, to a close on October 6th. After almost four weeks of evolving creative chapters and some of the world’s biggest luxury houses taking the runway, Paris offers one final look at where fashion is heading next
