Under the chairwomanship of Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Design Commission Abu Dhabi (DCAD) has partnered with luxury maison Tiffany & Co. to launch the Tiffany & Co. Residency Program. The initiative expands DCAD’s multidisciplinary residency portfolio, creating a platform for emerging talents in the field of jewellery and watchmaking.
The programme combines the Emirate’s rich culture, architecture, and artistic heritage with nearly two centuries of Tiffany’s innovation and design excellence. It allows participants to refine their technical proficiency and experiment with material exploration, encouraging them to cultivate their own design language, one that is rooted in local heritage and contemporary craftsmanship.

Over the six months, from November 2026 to April 2027, 10 selected residents will have the opportunity to attend weekly Saturday sessions at a dedicated venue in Abu Dhabi. The residency will culminate in a capstone exhibition in May 2027, where the participants can present their final projects within Abu Dhabi’s cultural landscape.
Upon completion, three top-performing participants will be granted a three-month internship at Tiffany & Co.’s New York Headquarters from June 2027 to August 2027, an incomparable opportunity to experience one of the world’s most iconic design houses.

Interested applicants can submit their application and portfolio via the official DCAD website between August 17 and September 20, 2026. By connecting local talents with international institutions, DCAD is carving a clear path for emerging designers to the luxury industry, strengthening Abu Dhabi’s creative economy.
