The Abu Dhabi Awards has concluded a nationwide recognition tour honouring the winning institutions of its latest Schools Competition, organised in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Education. Representatives visited the student schools to present them with awards, celebrating their efforts in fostering a culture of giving, appreciation, and community spirit throughout the academic year. 

Six schools, including Al Mesk Kindergarten, Zayed Education Complex in Mohammed bin Zayed, Jewairyah bint Al Harith Cycle 1 School, Al Qariah Cycle 1 School, Madar International School, and Mezyad School were recognised during the tour for their exceptional contributions. The Competition highlighted broad engagement across the nation with 50 schools participating from all seven emirates.  

Receiving over 15,000 nominations, more than double the count from previous edition, this year’s initiative achieved remarkable milestone numbers. With total nominations exceeding 100% of their eligible student body, the winning schools demonstrated extraordinary involvement. Throughout the year, these schools organised dynamic awareness activities and interactive programs that encouraged students to participate actively while learning the value of recognising unsung heroes who make a positive difference in the society. 

By actively engaging students in identifying selfless contributions and by nurturing a sense of social responsibility and civic pride from an early age, the initiative reflects the ongoing effort of the Abu Dhabi Awards and the ministry of Education to strengthen community values within the education system. Moving forward, the Award remains dedicated to promoting humanitarian contributions and inspiring a new generation committed to serving their communities.
