Blending timeless automotive craftsmanship with high-precision watchmaking, British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin and Swiss watchmaker Breitling have unveiled their first collaboration project, the Top Time B01 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Aston Martin DB5. This exclusive line celebrating the legendary Aston Martin DB5, an enduring symbol of style and innovation since its debut in 1963, will be launched in July 2026.

A connection that dates back to 1965 began when a Breitling Top Time watch famously appeared alongside the DB5 in the James Bond film Thunderball. Today, the brands’ shared legacy is reinterpreted through a series of design details that translate the feeling of driving the classic grand tourer directly onto the wrist. 

Every detail pays homage to the DB5’s luxurious interior, with a wooden inner ring echoing the car’s vintage steering wheel and the hand-coloured gradient leather straps reflecting the depth and texture of fine automotive upholstery. The cushion-shaped case and mushroom pushers capture the spirit of 1960s chronographs, and the unique squircle subdials mirror classic dashboard gauges. 

The collection is available in three distinct limited-edition versions. The stainless-steel model with a silver dial is limited to 1,022 pieces and pays the closest homage to the original 1960s watch. A steel and platinum edition, limited to 315 pieces, combines a high-gloss black lacquered dial with a solid platinum bezel. Lastly, the most exclusive 250 individually numbered pieces in 18k red gold mark Breitling’s first-ever use of a natural onyx stone dial. 

All three timepieces are powered by the COSC-certified Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 movement, built for precision and featuring a 70-hour power reserve. Owners can admire the inner movement and a custom Aston Martin-engraved rotor through an open sapphire-crystal caseback. By merging the tactile elegance of the DB5 with modern watchmaking, the collection delivers a seamless balance of speed and enduring style.
