Recognised for her remarkable contributions to Saudi Arabia’s fashion and design sector, Princess Nourah has founded the jewellery brand Nuun in Paris. She safeguarded the kingdom’s heritage as CEO of Arts of Heritage and launched Adhlal to support Saudi designers and talents. In 2023, she furthered her creative vision by collaborating with Asprey on five limited-edition handbags inspired by the Kingdom’s rich cultural traditions.
Among the recipients was Maha Malluh, the pioneering Saudi artist, who was honoured with the Visual Arts Award in recognition of her distinguished career. Sharing her gratitude on Instagram, she wrote: “Receiving the Visual Arts Award this year is a source of immense pride, and it inspires me to continue creating and contributing through my art to serve my country and highlight its cultural image.”
The National Cultural Awards were established under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture. The awards recognise and celebrate the contributions of individuals, groups, and institutions across the Kingdom’s increasingly diverse cultural landscape.
