The Tanweer Festival is heading back to the golden dunes of the Mleiha Desert from 21 to 23 November 2025.
Following its debut in 2024, the festival is now returning on a larger scale, solidifying Sharjah’s role as a cultural capital.

This year’s theme is What You Seek Is Seeking You which was inspired by the words of Rumi. The festival is an immersive journey of music, art, and human connection. Over the course of three days, the desert will transform into a stage for global artists to perform.

The programme will include starlit concerts, interactive art installations, wellness workshops, and heritage-inspired activities. International stars, including Emel Mathlouthi (who will close the festival), will join regional voices such as Emirati potter Eman Al Shamsi and the Moroccan ensemble Nass El Ghiwane, hailed as The Rolling Stones of Africa. Highlights also include Tai Chi demonstrations by Master Can, soul-stirring melodies from Leo Rojas, and the fusion sounds of Hanan Halwany.

The performances will take place in specially designed spaces, including the Dome, the Tree of Life, the Marketplace, and the Main Stage. Beyond the music, visitors can explore artisan markets, global cuisines in the Nourish area, and large-scale installations among the desert landscape.
For those with an adventurous spirit, the festival offers camping, glamping, and excursions to the UNESCO-inscribed Faya Paleolandscape, alongside stargazing, safaris, and archaeological tours.
With its dynamic line-up, Tanweer Festival 2025 promises to be an exciting experience once again.
