In celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, restaurant A Normal Day is hosting a one-week collaboration with rising local culinary star Chef Hessa Aljassmi, a Le Cordon Bleu alumna now at École Ducasse. From August 28 to September 4, you can enjoy an exclusive three-course menu which reimagines Emirati flavours with simplicity and creative flair.

Visit a Qasr Al Hosn x House of Artisans Pop-Up at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental

On August 28, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental is hosting a pop-up with Qasr Al Hosn and House of Artisans beneath the Grand Dome. Guests can enjoy live demonstrations of traditional dukhoon and perfume making, plus interactive workshops (1–4pm). In celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, Penrose Lounge at Four Seasons DIFC is putting on A Sweet Tribute to Emirati Women. This limited-edition collection of rose-shaped desserts, inspired by the UAE flag, combines flavours like caramel, Arabica coffee, Ispahan, strawberry, and pistachio. Available August 20 to 30.

Take part in a texture art workshop with dinner

On August 25, you can celebrate Emirati Women’s Day at Pincode by Chef Kunal Kapur with an interactive texture art workshop followed by a three-course Indian-inspired feast. The Golden Heritage will be hosted at The Galleria Mall, 1pm–3pm. Guests will also take home their bespoke artwork as a keepsake.

Purchase a special scent

Dubai-based luxury scent house Light of Sakina has unveiled Tajali, a signature Mamool Bakhour collection in honour of Emirati Women’s Day. Crafted in their Dubai atelier, Tajali features three blends, Nasmah, Sukoon, and Asrar, each celebrating womanhood, leadership, and spirituality. Launching August 28, the brand will also host activations at Madinat Jumeirah and Hilton Al Habtoor.
